Celebrating 50 years of making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, through caring, in-depth Bible study.
Join the celebration by sharing your CBS story and supporting the next 50 years of ministry.
Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible!
From September 16, 2026 - May 26, 2027 we will study James and Genesis.
Our in-person women’s groups and children's program (ages 0-5) meet on Wednesdays, 9:45 - 11:35 a.m. at South Shore Baptist Church in Hingham MA. (Space for children is limited.) Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, members participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching.

CLASS POLICY FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER OR OTHER EMERGENCIES - If it's not practical to meet on-site because of inclement weather or an emergency such as a water main break, we will meet by Zoom. We use Weymouth Public School inclement weather decisions as a guide. Thus, if Weymouth Public Schools delay or cancel because of inclement weather, we will meet by Zoom (unless there are major power outages). Core Leaders will contact participants if we plan to meet by Zoom because of a weather or other emergency.
